Regent's Postgraduate Progression Scholarships - No. of awards TBC

Regent's Postgraduate Progressions Scholarships reward the loyalty of undergraduate students who progress to entrol on a postgraduate degree with us. It's our way of saying thank you.

Scholarships are worth up to 15% of tuition fees. The higher your degree classification, the higher the scholarship amount you will be awarded.

1st class degree = 15% tuition fee reduction
2:1 class degree = 10% tuition fee reduction
2:2 class degree = 5% tuition fee reduction

Awards to US citizens for the first year of Master's or PhD study in any subject, or to conduct a period of independent research, covers the first year's tuition and a living stipend.

Goa Education Trust Scholarships - India 2016 - No. of awards TBC

The UK Government’s global scholarships, available to students from 118 countries worldwide (excluding the USA and the EU). Scholarships are awarded to outstanding scholars with leadership potential, either full or part funding for full-time postgraduate level study in any subject.

£12,500

Eligibility

You can apply for an award if you:

‌•are an Indian national with a valid Indian passport and domiciled in India at the time of application
‌•hold an unconditionaloffer of a place on one of the eligible postgraduate courses at RUL for September 2016 intake; and
do not exceed the age of 30 at point of application
‌•Have a strong academic background
‌•are not currently registered on an undergraduate or postgraduate course at RUL.
*Scholarships are for September 2016 only and cannot be deferred to a future start date

Future Finance loans - No. of awards TBC

The University has partnered with Future Finance (as an alternative source of funding for our students*).

The features of a Future Finance loan include:

Loans are offered to all higher education students (both undergraduate and postgraduate) with a UK domiciled address, (students must meet appropriate credit checks and be aged 18 or over)
Loans are offered from £2,500 - £40,000 and can include living costs as well as tuition fees
Loans are repayable up to 10 years after graduation
Students can take up to four three month payment breaks during the loan period
Representative 11.8% APR (variable)

Please note that other sources of funding may be available.

Postgraduate loans - Student Finance England 2016-17 - No. of awards TBC

Please note that application for the 2016-17 academic year is not yet open. We were informed that applications will open at the end of June 2016. Please check back then for further information.

Student Finance England (SFE) is now offering funding for UK and EU nationals, as well as students with the status of Migrant Worker (under the age of 60 on the date of first class of the first Master’s degree).

Students, who already hold one Master’s degree (or an equivalent or higher-level qualification) will not be eligible.

Internal / external funding: External

Type of funding: Discretionary non-means-tested loan to a maximum of £10,000 for a Master’s programme. This is a contribution towards the costs of study, in other words, it will be at your own discretion how you use the loan – towards fees, maintenance costs or other costs.

Nationality: Primarily UK, EU (see details)

Amount: £10,000 maximum. You may apply for a smaller amount if that is what you require.
